The most distinctive modes are Massage and Sensitive. The Sensitive mode provides a gentle, sensitive brushing, which is ideal if you have sensitive gums or any loose teeth. The massage option alternates the speed of brushing and drives fluids between your teeth to reduce plague and prevent gum diseases using large, but slow circular vibrations.

The design of the toothbrush is impressive. The currently selected brushing mode is displayed on the illuminated display of the toothbrush handle.

battery Life

The battery life is very good and considerably better than previous Sonicare models. For a full charge, it takes 24 hours. This provides approximately 1 hour 24 minutes of usage, this equates to 42 two minute brushing's.

Final Thoughts

The only downside of the Flexcare Plus is that it does not dispense toothpaste. This isn't much of a negative though as its very quick and easy to do this yourself manually.

Overall, The Philips Sonicare FlexCare Plus HX6972/10 is an excellent high tech toothbrush, which is very effective for maintaining a high standard of oral hygiene. The product is impeccably designed and clearly shows that Philips have paid a lot of attention to detail when designing this brush.

It features numerous improvements over the previous Flexcare model. The most notable improvements are the new brushing modes and extended battery life. If you're looking for an electric toothbrush, which is gentle yet effective and feature packed, then the Flexcare Plus is the brush for you.
